The journey to Hermanus takes in spectacular scenery. We travel along the eastern seaboard of False Bay with a stop at the Harold Porter Reserve at Betty's Bay. Between the end of July and November the visitor will see the Southern Right Whales in Walker Bay at Hermanus. After lunch, enjoy the patchwork quilt of farmlands in the valleys and the apple orchards and forests of Elgin on the return journey over Sir Lowry's Pass with its magnificent views over False Bay and Cape Town.
